Triumph car dealers in New Zealand

This article is about car dealers who sold and serviced Standard Triumph cars in New Zealand. I have here shared some dealer adverts and would welcome any further comments and material that readers may have.In an earlier blog post I wrote about Triumph car deliveries in New Zealand

Standard Triumph cars were both sold and assembled in New zealand. The earliest advert I have is this showing a Standard 13.9hp two seater Standard. E Reynolds & Co Ltd of Wellington were a distributor of Standard cars and in this advert are looking to recruit dealers to sell Standard cars in News Zealand.

Amuri Motors Ltd, of Durham Street, Christchurch, New Zealand were a factory appointed distributor of Standard Triumph cars.

Northern Automobiles Ltd, 152-156 Albert Street, Auckland, New Zealand Standard Vanguard advert.

T R Taylor Ltd 

T R Taylor Ltd advert for early Triumph 2000. I beieve later Triumph 2000's were assembled in New Zealand, 

Another T R Taylor Ltd Triumph 2000 advert.  At this time T R Taylor were a distributor for Triumph.  There were Triumph dealers:

• T R Taylor Ltd - Alexandra
• J R Murray Ltd - Balcutha
• Srath Taieri Motor Engineers Ltd - Middlemarch
• Brownlie Motors Ltd - Owaka
• North End Service Station - Oamaru
• Wedderburn Garage Ltd - Wedderburn

Acording to CompaniesNZ: T R TAYLOR LIMITED is a NZ Limited Company from Invercargill in New Zealand. It was incorporated on 16 Sep 1936 and dissolved on 19 Apr 2004 and has the status: Removed.
