This compliments slip is attached to a warranty document included with a Triumph 2000mk2 originally supplied by Mansbridge 9/3/70 and now owned by Andrew Newman.

Business closed down

I understand that the business closed down in the early 1990's.  The Rumbold Street garage ended by selling Citroen cars. I think that building is now used by the Lincolnshire archives.  They then moved out to a 3 garage site on Wragby Road but only Citroens were sold under the Mansbridge name. The Wragby site was selling furniture in 2009 having stopped selling cars during the late 1990's.

The one time proprietor J R J Mansbridge drove a Jaguar Mk V in the Monte Carlo rally 1952.

I was recently sent photos of a very shiny cup that appears to have been awarded to Mr Mansbridge in 1953. At the time he was driving a Jaguar.  The cup was given to the the Lincs and Louth Motor Club following the death of Mr Mansbridge.
