pictures at end of week 4

The back wall and the wall at the bottom of the garden are now up to wall plate height. The joinery needs adding in for the pedestrian door and window on the wall you can see before the wall can be finished off.

The garage still needs the floor adding in and the roof fixing on.

Can not order the vehicle doors until the entrance is ready.

nearly paid for

Garage is nearly paid for and nearing completion. The last but one stage payment was made yesterday. Will add some more pictures tomorrow.

Car and garage news

Mike he says car should be ready for pickup next Saturday.

Pity the garage will not be ready. This how it looks today.

computer crash and more pictures

Thank goodness I have this Blog as a record of the garage build. I have just spent most Saturday night til 2.00 in the morning getting my computer back up and running. It seems to have lost all my garage pictures.

How is my car?

Mike says he has not started work on it yet. We agreed as my garage is not built yet there was no hurry. Car may be sorted and ready to collect by Saturday 21st but more likely by Saturday 28th.

Foundations done

Yesterday the concrete for the foundations was done. No frost and it all looks good this morning.

Setting out the site has started and yet another skip of rubbish has been filled.

On returning from work I spotted a mini-digger parked under the old apple tree, there must have been some action today. Hope nobody tries to nick it tonight.

Where there was once a concrete prefab garage.

Its all gone.

Free time

Whilst my garage is being redeveloped I have sent my Vitesse away to be fixed.

On Thursday Mike Papworth came up from Coventry to fetch my car. mailto:mike.papworth1@btopenworld.com .

With reverse gear restored and an MOT I hope to mobile again some.

Now I am without my car or my garage what will I do with all my free time?

Happy new year -

New garage to be built! My builder has started work today. The old garage has been knocked down.
