The business started in the early 1920's selling and repairing bicycles from premises on Harrogate Road, Chapel Allerton, Leeds.  Arnold G Wilson (Leeds) Ltd the company was founded 27 August 1934 and went into liquidation in 1984.  More than one firm has traded using the name Arnold G Wilson Ltd,

Week long Show and Service Week promotions by the firm at their Regent Street, Leeds premises assisted by staff from Standard Triumph HQ were held 13th to 17th July 1964, 1st to 5th March 1965 and 16th to 20th December 1968.

I found this image and paragraph at https://www.wetherbynews.co.uk/news/looking-back-at-sherburn-in-elmet-1-7260940: Sherburn-in-Elmet, April 1956 and Mr Arnold G Wilson is pictured taking his cousin, Miss Julie Wilson, for a flight in the Percival Proctor I which has visited every country in Europe. Mr Wilson of the Yorkshire Aeroplane Club, Sherburn Aerodrome had been lent the aircraft by Mr Joe Taylor who retired as Aviation Manager of Shell and BP.

This 1973 advert shows the Aston Martin Vantage as being available from Arnold G Wilson Ltd, Regent Street, Leeds.

The group sold Alvis, Bond, Morris, Rover and Wolseley from the Regent Street garage in the city centre. The Doncaster Road, Wakefield garage also sold a range of makes including Austin , Morris, Land Rover and Triumph.
