Herbert Clifford senior was in the Royal Army Service Corps during the second world war. After the war he started a haulage business which was taken over during the Nationalisation of the freight industry in the 19040's. He then started a chauffeur driven service with 2 sons. That developed into a general motor trade operation and eventually a Standard Triumph dealership in the 1950's.
H Clifford & Sons Ltd the company was incorporated 19 October 1951 and dissolved 26 August 1997.
Show and Service week
Staff from Standard Triumph HQ visited the business and assisted with week long Show and Service promotion at Bramcote Avenue from 11 to 15 April1960.Plea for information
